| Tax-Deductible Donations, Friends of BARC Fund Raisers, Ways and Means, and Vendors Supporting BARC HELP RESCUE BERNERS BY MAKING A TAX-DEDUCTIBLE DONATION TO BARC |
Since BARC's founding, we have rescued and placed over 300 at-risk Bernese Mountain Dogs. As you know, rescue is very expensive. But doing nothing is even more costly! Through your generous donations we are able to pay for such things as routine and emergency veterinary care, including expenses for spaying, neutering, vaccination, emergency health care for critically ill or undernourished puppies and pregnant bitches, and, when genetic disease is suspected, the cost of testing and documenting it. Your financial support also enables us to cover the costs of screening adoptive families and educating the public regarding puppy mills and commercial, high-volume puppy breeding. Please make a donation to help us continue to rescue these lovely dogs, place them in forever homes and educate the public. Bernese Auction Rescue Coalition,Inc. is a 501c3 tax-exempt, non-profit organization. All donations to BARC are fully tax deductible under current U.S. tax laws. Donors outside the U.S. should consult their tax advisors regarding the tax status of their charitable donations. Support BARC with the purchase of a limited-edition, numbered and signed-by-the-artist etching of "Viktor". These are not prints, but rather collectable works of art crafted by internationally recognized canine artist, Geoffrey Lasko, whose artwork has been sold at the famed Sotheby's. Lasko, who has protrayed other breeds for the AKC, donated his artistic talents to BARC in appreciation of board member, Jane Heggen, who assisted in rescuing his work from a fire in his studio. The 20 numbered, hand painted etchings (right) sold out immediately, but if you act fast, it is not too late to add a gorgeous hand inked black and white etching to your personal art collection. They are available for $80 each, plus $6 for shipping and handling. Only 180 of these limited edition etchings exist. Each etching, hand numbered and embossed with the artist's personal stamp, is printed on museum quality archival paper. If you would like a more detailed explanation of Mr. Lasko's inspiration, please click on the pdf file below. To order your limited-edition BARC "Viktor" etching, please e-mail your request to BARC Board Member, Jane Heggen, at [email protected]. Be sure to make your check payable to "Bernese Auction Rescue Coalition, Inc." |
